Jason Thomas ice-shavers-epicentre cover
Ice Shavers has been open for a few months now in the EpiCentre and they are really starting to find their groove.
They are located in the old valet stand right on College (so nice to see them give this space an actual use; it was so stupid as a valet stand).

They have approximately 30 flavors at any given point and they are all natural fruit flavors, no artificial colors or sweetener.
Some highlights:
- Banana pudding
- Strawberry shortcake
- Strawberry
- Mango
- Piña colada
- Blue raspberry
- Pomegranate
They always give free samples so feel free to try around.
With the colder months coming they may introduce hot chocolate, which would be amazing.
Their hours are currently 2 p.m. – until, 7 days a week. They have been operating until late night thanks to a snow cone hungry bar crowd.

$5 for a small, $7 for a medium, and $9 for a large.
$5 may seem like a lot, but the small is GIGANTIC and this is real snow, not some crushed ice.

This is a really cool addition to Uptown as it is a little novelty stand that offers a fun product and feels pretty big city of us.
I imagine families walking by on a Sunday afternoon and their kids begging for one. I imagine a group of friends walking by late on a Saturday night and their stomachs begging for one.
Go check them out ASAP – the owners are super nice and friendly, too.
