Ever since it opened its location in Dilworth, Sunflour Baking Company’s Morning Glory muffin has been a morning standby for me. It’s packed with carrots, apple, pineapple, coconut, raisins and walnuts.
(2) Donut Cake, Suárez Bakery
When you can’t decide between doughnuts and cake, a Texas doughnut cake is a sweet compromise.

Most of the time, I’m more of a savory breakfast person, and Nova’s spinach and feta scones are the bomb. Enough said.

This seasonal cupcake flavor is one of my favorites. I loved Dreamsicles as a kid, and these take me back. They are the perfect cupcake consistency, too.
(10) Garlic Rosemary Focaccia, Nova’s Bakery
I’m going to warn you, this bread is straight up addictive. It’s great to pick up if you are entertaining. Serve with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
