Think Uber for house cleaning: Hux has arrived in Charlotte

The Atlanta-based website allows users to book house cleaning services online. You can choose the price and time that works best for you. Users can even read reviews and see ratings of different cleaners in their area.

It’s super easy to schedule cleanings. All I had to do was go to their website, type in my zip code and add a few details about the size of my apartment and the level of cleaning I wanted. Users can choose from a light clean, full clean and deep clean.

Next, I scheduled my cleaning. I was able to scroll through and look at the different cleaners available. You can look at their ratings, years of experience, read reviews, and see their schedule. I decided to go with Tonya and scheduled my clean for 6:00 a.m.

The night before, I got a text from Tonya reminding me about the cleaning. It was a nice touch and instantly made me feel more comfortable.

Tonya came bright and early the next morning and cleaned my apartment. She was very friendly and came with all her own supplies. I was able to leave her my key and head into work, which was super convenient.

The end result? My apartment was sparkling clean.

I mean…look at it. My stove top was literally glistening.
