Here’s the email that was sent out yesterday from Chuy’s General Manager Scott Evans.

Where is Waverly and when will it open?

Waverly is located in south Charlotte past I-485 where Providence Road hits Ardrey Kell Road. The restaurant will open in early November.

How bad is the parking situation at Chuy’s SouthPark?

Parking in this area of SouthPark has always been a pain. When I stopped by the restaurant yesterday evening, I asked an employee if it was really about the parking or if they just didn’t think the SouthPark location worked for them. He responded, “I think it’s more of us making a change for ourselves.” I thought this was an oddly formal response which made me believe it was more that just the parking. That said, the parking is definitely even more of a nightmare than usual right now…
