Harry Potter represents my childhood. I remember that at the release of each addition to the series, I would stay up to try and read the entire book (only making it a few chapters before passing out). I would yell at my friends who had finished before me, not wanting any spoilers. And I wasn’t the only one.
Potter fever is real.

We cried at Dumbledore’s death, rejoiced in Harry’s victories, laughed along with Ron’s misfortunes, and questioned Professor Snape’s intentions. To many, Harry Potter is more than just a book.
And so, when I heard that JK Rowling was releasing an addition to the Harry Potter story, I was pretty excited.
Officially the eighth story in the series, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play about Harry’s life 19 years later.
The play will premier in London on July 30. But you can also choose to read the script- which is available in print July 31.
