Nothing beats a nice, refreshing cocktail on a hot summer day. But now that we’ve all see a thousand instagrams of popsicles in prosecco, it’s time to branch out.
Whether you’ve got plans for the lake or you’re just hanging by the pool, here are some no-fuss cocktail recipes to cool you down.

Jalapeño Grapefruit Margarita

Ingredients:
1 1/1 cups tequila
2 cups fresh grapefruit juice
¾ cup fresh lime juice
4 tablespoons honey
1-2 whole jalapeños, sliced
Rim glasses with salt (you could also get fancy and garnish with grapefruit slices) Serves 4-6.

Sweet Tea Sangria

Ingredients:
2 cups of peaches
2 cups of raspberries
6 cups of Bojangles’ Legendary Sweet Tea
1 bottle of white wine (I used a Sauvignon Blanc)
1 sprig of mint
Chill at least 2-3 hours. Garnish with mint. Serves 6-8.

Pineapple-Orange Mojito

Ingredients:
3 oz. light rum (I used Muddy River Distillery’s silver rum, which is locally made)
½ cup pineapple juice
½ an orange, juiced
Mint leaves (I just used it as a garnish but you can muddle the leaves and add more to make it a true mojito)
1 tbsp. simple syrup
A splash of club soda
Serves about 2
Sweet Tea Vodka Slushy
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups crushed ice
1 ½ cups of Bojangles’ Legendary Sweet Tea
3 oz. of vodka (I like Tito’s)
1 lemon, juiced
Combine ice, iced tea, vodka and lemon juice in a blender. Blend until slushy consistency. Serve with lemon slices. Serves about 2.
Spiked Honey Lemonade
Ingredients:
5 tbsp Jack Daniel’s Honey Whiskey, or any whiskey of choice
1/2 cup lemonade (I used pre-made because I’m lazy)
1 tbsp simple syrup
A splash of honey
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Garnish with frozen blueberries and lemon slices. Serves about 2.
