It’s finally happening. Plaza Midwood is getting an authentic ice cream shop in Two Scoops Creamery.
Yeah, Plaza Midwood has great Mexican food and the perfect deli in Common Market. But it lacks a certain cold, tasty dessert. So when I heard that Two Scoops Creamery was going to open, my mouth literally started to water.
Two Scoops Creamery is across the street from White Rabbit at 913 Central Avenue.

While other ice cream shops like Paleteria La Margarita recently opened near Plaza Midwood, Two Scoops Creamery believes that the ice cream will speak for itself.
What sets Two Scoops apart from other ice cream shops? The taste and the homemade quality, its owners say.
They will offer 32-36 staple flavors as well as rotating seasonal flavors. Two Scoops plans to grow to offer 60 flavors. The flavors will have fun, quirky names all working to create a playful aesthetic.
You can expect coffee flavors like almond coffee and mocha varieties. And one seasonal flavor to get excited for? Smack-your-mama-pumpkin-pie. Yes, please.

Two Scoops will be a family-friendly environment.
Featuring a front patio with games like corn hole as well as outdoor seating, it’s definitely going to be a hot spot this summer. The interior of the shop is going to be artsy — custom artwork and cool logos will cover the walls.
