We asked our 438 Agenda Members for their favorite breakfast spot in Charlotte. Below are the top 5 breakfast restaurants in Charlotte, ranked. I would trust this group, they’re smart.
#1 – Toast
What to know? The coffee is strong and locals call it “diesel.” Love how the wait staff is assigned certain tables, thus the food comes out fast and coffee refills come even faster. Omelets come highly recommended.
Neighborhoods: Dilworth, Ballantyne, University. Site.

What to know? Great spot for a Mimosa, Bloody Mary and outstanding brunch menu. One of the most developed breakfast menus in the city.
Neighborhood: Plaza Midwood. Site.
#3 – Terrace Cafe
What to order? Red Velvet Waffle, Terrace French Toast or the Full Breakfast.
Neighborhood: SouthPark & Ballantyne. Site.

What to order? #BEC, aka Bacon Egg and Cheese (grilled roll, runny egg, bacon and white cheddar) or the Breakfast Tacos (corn tortillas, egg white, kale and quinoa). littleSpoon has an LA vibe, you’ll dig it.
Neighborhood: Myers Park. Site.
#5 – Laurel Market

What to order? The Americano breakfast sandwich (Neese’s sausage, bacon, two eggs and American cheese). Laurel Market pays a premium for “Grade A” bacon. The stuff you see at grocery stores is “Grade C.” Excellent grab and go spot.
Neighborhood: Eastover. Site.
Honorable mentions (in no particular order): Eddie’s Place, Poppy’s Bagels, Owen’s Bagels, Original Pancake House, Amelie’s, Rhino Market, Bojangles’, Luna’s Living Kitchen, Yolk, Landmark Diner, Midnight Diner and Sunflour Baking Co.
