Blaze Pizza is opening at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Camden Gallery building in South End.
They’ll be giving out free pizzas on Friday, though, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. This location is the 122nd for the California-based company and they’re trying to get to 180 by the end of the year.
They’re crazy about ambiance. To the extent where they’ll have the music between 80 and 90 decibels and actually bring a noise meter in to make sure it’s right.
Here’s a look at the menu.
Your best bet is $7.85 for a build-your-own or signature pizza.
40 topping to choose from.
Three sauces, 12 cheeses, a bunch of meats, veggies, etc.
And you can choose as many as you want.
I went with red sauce, goat cheese, feta cheese, applewood bacon, chicken, spinach and onions.
Takes about 3 minutes to cook.
They’ll call your name out when it’s done.
Don’t forget about homemade s’mores.
You can also get salad if you want.
They’ll have five local beers.
Bottles/cans for now, but will be installing draught soon. Look for OMB, NoDa and Triple C off the bat.
Online ordering available.
You can pick and pay online. Go check in and they’ll start making your pizza. They don’t want to make it beforehand because then it will have to sit around.
Free two-hour parking in the parking deck (enter from West Boulevard side).
