Another brewery could be coming to Lower South End

MPV Properties and Selwyn Property Group are buying the property at 200 Clanton from Lifespan with closing expected this month.

This is right across the street from Red Clay Ciderworks and in walking distance of both the Scaleybark and New Bern light rail stations. Lots of activity here.

Plans are to turn the building into three things:

70,000 square feet would become a self-storage facility. There is 15,000 square feet of office space available. And then there’s the possibility of a brewery.

All these images are from marketing materials and may not represent what actually happens. Just what the vision is at this point.

There’s been interest from at least a dozen brewing companies — “local, regional, and national,” MPV says.
