There’s a tiny gem of a co-working space in Hearst Tower (and it’s free)

It’s located off to the left when you walk in the North Tryon entrance.

The space is available for anyone who is a Hearst Tower tenant or guest to use on a first-come, first-serve basis, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

I’m not sure how strict they are on this – I’ve worked here as neither tenant nor guest and have always been fine.

Rules are simple: your workspace use is limited to two hours, don’t bring alcohol or food and don’t be younger than 18.

If you can follow these rules, the cubicles, chairs, projector and white boards (just to name a few things) are yours.
