7th Annual Mimosa Party benefitting Time Out Youth: If running isn’t your thing, join others on Greenway Avenue in Elizabeth at 8 a.m. to cheer on the 8k runners and enjoy mimosas while helping out a good cause. Saturday, 3/19

Naturalist Egg Hunt at Wing Haven Garden: Make binoculars and hunt for treasures, create seasonal crafts and learn about birds it the garden from 10 a.m. to noon. This family-friendly event is recommended for children under 10. $12 for members and $15 for non-members. Saturday, 3/19

20th Annual Charlotte St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Charlotte Goes Green FestivalUptown’s St. Patrick’s Day festival will feature music, vendors, activities, food and beverages from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The parade kicks off at 11 a.m. with the “main stage” at Trade and Tryon. Saturday, 3/19

The 10th and final Midnight Run on The Booty Loop in Myers Park: Meet in the Myers Park Methodist Parking lot at Providence and Queens at 11:45 p.m. (or later) and run, walk or bike The Booty Loop. Free – no registration required however donations will be collected for Camp LUCK. Friday, 3/18

The 30th Annual Elizabeth 8k Road Race: Race kicks off at 8 a.m. at the Hawthorne Rec Center and wraps up with an awards ceremony at Hawthorne’s Pizza. There’s also a 1.5 mile untimed run/walk and a kids’ fun run in Independence Park. RegisterSaturday, 3/19
