The old Aquavina space on the Green is being turned into offices

Aquavina was the first restaurant I ever went to in Charlotte and became a go-to work meeting spot. I usually ate the Cuban sandwich.

It’s been closed for awhile now and it is being converted into offices for a company called Charah Inc.

Charah is an ash management contractor for Duke Energy.
Construction is underway now and it should open in March.
One fewer restaurant in the Green area, which is a bummer.
