Have you been to Duck Donuts yet? If not, here’s how to be a pro donut grabber

Hours? Mon to Tues: 6 a.m. – 3 p.m., Wed to Sat: 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. and  Sun: 6 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Walk in and smell the donuts.

If you see the cinnamon sugar sample platter, go straight for it. Grab a sample. Grab a water, too.

No set pattern to samples, but they’re typically there on weekdays and early mornings on the weekend.

If you’re making a large order, use the Donut Order Form (located next to the door when you walk in with pencils). Keeps things going fast.

Go with a dozen donuts ($11.95), unless you’re feeling skinny – then go with a half-dozen ($6.75). Feeding the entire office? Grab a bucket (18 donuts, $16.50).

Order the cinnamon sugar donut.

It’s their most popular and it’s delicious. Also order the Maple Bacon Donut.

Go grab a medium coffee ($1.85).

Look at the merchandise and even though the aroma of donuts will make you want to buy a T-shirt, you’ll snap out of it and think, I don’t need a donut shirt.

As you’re waiting, watch the donut machine like a little child.

If you’re literally a child (or just short), there’s a black riser for you to stand on and watch.

Grab your donuts and go.

There’s only 3 tables and a bar. It’s not a stay and eat type place.
