Danny Gassaway band cover
Good stuff this weekend. Heavy NC flavor, which always makes me happy. If you’re out and about during the week, be sure to check out McLovins or Pigeons Playing Ping Pong at the Rabbit Hole. Otherwise, we’ve got a great lineup at the Visulite on Friday, and a fun night at the Muse.
Times listed are when the show is scheduled to start, not when the doors are opened. Unless listed otherwise, prices are before taxes and fees.
Agenda Picks
- 1/29/16: The Business People, Jaggermouth, Hectorina, The Seduction; Visulite Theatre, 8:30 p.m., $10 (tickets). Charlotte band The Business People headlines a great night of local acts to release their new EP Dirty Feeling.
- 1/30/16: stephaniesid, Jon Stickley Trio; Evening Muse, 10:30 p.m., $7-$10 (tickets). stephaniesid and Jon Stickley Trio come in from Asheville. This is one you’ll want to make sure you’re at right around 10:30pm. Jon Stickley Trio is what I’d call prog-grass-jazz-fusion-rip-slam. Probably doesn’t do it justice, though. See it for yourself.
