5 person band
Does anyone know Billy? You’ve probably seen him at a show around town in his suspenders and glasses dancing like a wild man for several hours. Guy is the man. Saw him three times last week. Always makes me feel like I’m at the right places. Final River Jam of the summer is Thursday. The USNWC has done a heck of a job with that event. Looking forward to seeing it continue to grow.
Times listed are when the show is scheduled to start, not when the doors are opened. Unless listed otherwise noted, prices are before taxes and fees.
Agenda Picks
- 9/24: Jamey Johnson, The Fillmore, 8 p.m., $39.23 with fees and taxes. The nine-time Grammy nominee swings through Charlotte as part of his fall tour. Johnson does it his way, playing a style of country music you won’t find on the Country Megaticket.
- 9/25: Bubonik Funk, Viva La Hop; Rabbit Hole, 9 p.m., $5 to $10. Local funk act Bubonik Funk, who played with George Clinton and P-Funk in June, hits the Rabbit Hole Friday evening with Boston funk and hip hop group Viva La Hop. Always a good, foot-stompin’, funkin’ time. Now say funk five more times and get yourselves to the Rabbit Hole on Friday.
