Food Updates
- Ownership: “Two small batch chili recipes will be offered in a number of different styles (plus some extra sauce style toppings).”
- Go to menu items (sounds like Bubba from Forrest Gump talking about shrimp): Chili dogs/coneys, Chili burgers, Chili fries, Chili nachos, Chili dip with house chips, Chili dip with Bavarian soft pretzels.
- They’ll also produce “one-off small batch recipes that could range from vegetarian options to green chili to braised short rib chili to gumbo etc.” However, they are going to make sure things are rolling with their full time menu before introducing any one offs.
- Prices will range from $4-$13 lunches depending on appetite.
The Facts
- Owners are Kristian Pedersen (owner of Courtyard Hooligans, Valhalla Pub and Crafty Beer Guys), Mark Krehbiel (owner of Courtyard Hooligans) and A.J. Ellis.
- QCBC will be both a quick, casual dining establishment and a beverage company.
- They will have 20 beers on draft that can either be ordered by the pint to enjoy at their bar or poured for growlers to take to go.
- The beer selection will be focused on harder to find/unique beers from around the US, including a few taps dedicated to local “one off” and seasonal brews.

- QCBC strives to be one of the fastest lunch services in Uptown. Order at the counter and expect to have your lunch in a matter of minutes.
- Seating in the growler shop will consist of two community style tables that seat eight people, the bar and a food rail along the wall. Additional seating will be available outside in the courtyard.
