Christmas in July at Romare Bearden Park: Celebrate Christmas in July at this family friendly food truck rally and movie screening put on by Charlotte Center City Partners and the Charlotte Ballet. Event will feature a tropical Santa, characters from the Nutcracker, food trucks and a screening of the movie Elf. Friday, July 24; Event begins at 5pm, movie screening at 8:45pm. Free. 

24 Hours of Booty: If you’re not one of the 1,200 people riding in this event that raises money to fight cancer, come out and support all of the bikers as they cruise the Booty Loop in Myers Park. Friday, 6/24 at 7pm until Saturday at 7pm. 

Christmas in July at the EpiCentre: Prefer a cocktail party instead of the food truck rally at the park?You can also celebrate Christmas in July at Rooftop 201 this weekend. Bring a backpack to benefit Classroom Central. Friday; 7:30-11pm. $40+ – tickets.

Q4KIDZ Live! Creative Bash for Families: ParentsTogether, a local nonprofit, is launching a free service that sends families a creative question each day to ask their children. Join them for the official launch at Free Range Brewing. Sunday, 7/26; 3-5pm. RSVP.

Charlotte Soccer Academy OrthoCarolina Sportsplex Grand Opening: This free event features food samples, a bounce house, carnival games, a bubble ball, music, contests and an obstacle course. Sunday, 7/26; 4-7pm. 

Celebrate Disabilities on the Silver Screen: This Sunday marks the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act. National Dance Day: This annual celebration encourages people of all ages to move! A free participatory dance event will take place at the Wells Fargo Plaza on Saturday at 1pm.
