South of the Bully rescue event at Unknown Brewing: $1 from every pint purchased will go to benefit South of the Bully rescue, an organization that rescues and places homeless dogs. Friday, 6/26; 4-10pm.
Hawaiian Luau at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille: Enjoy Dilworth Neighborhood Grille’s newly renovated patio, which will be transformed into an island oasis for their 1st Annual Luau. $5 Hawaiian cocktails and Hawaiian food specials. Friday, 6/26; 6-9pm.
NC Brewers Celebration at BB&T Ballpark: Celebrate the growth of craft beer in North Carolina. Taste local beers from NC breweries and bars and learn about their ingredients from hop and grain farmers. Saturday, 6/27; 1-5 pm. $45 for drinkers and $20 for designated drivers – tickets.

Brass Tap Grand Opening: Celebrate the grand opening of The Brass Tap in South End. Tap will feature 50 beers from 10 local breweries. Festivities will take place all day, including brunch from 10am-2pm and live music a night. Saturday, 6/27.

Tour Muddy River Distillery: North Carolina recently passed a law that will soon allow distilleries to sell bottles directly to their customers. The law goes into effect October 1 and will likely increase tour traffic at our local rum distillery Muddy River. Get in before the crowds and celebrate the passing of this law by touring their distillery this weekend. Saturday, 6/27; 12pm. $15 – reservations.

Check out this ZERO K “race” benefiting the Isabella Santos Foundation at American Legion Memorial Stadium. $30 registration includes a t-shirt, 2 drink tickets, concert, raffles, promotions and seating in the lower level at the Hounds vs. Denver Outlaws game. CLTture Music Fest at Chop Shop: Not only does this event feature some of the regions best indie bands and artists, it also showcases independently owned food, fashion, technology and art vendors. Vendors and activities include a mini-arcade by Abari Game Bar and Save Point, vintage pop-up shop by Good Grief Vintage, outdoor games by US National Whitewater Center and food trucks.
