Axios expands Colorado newsletters beyond Boulder

Axios is expanding its presence in Colorado with two new newsletters this week, serving Douglas and Arapahoe counties.

• That means we're now in five Colorado communities.

The new guy: Robert Sanchez will write both newsletters.

• Hes previously worked at The Associated Press, The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Rocky Mountain News, The Denver Post and 5280 magazine.

Zoom in: Already, he's already reported on a milk chug-off featuring competitors called the Bovine Baron and the Lord of Lactose — tough to top that.

What's next: Robert will publish two Arapahoe County and two Douglas County newsletters every week.

• Both the Douglas and Arapahoe county sites are also up and running.
