Boulder's chocolate company Chocolove has debuted a Hawaiian sea salt bar to commemorate the live-action Disney movie "Lilo and Stitch."

The latest: "Ohana" means family, and movies mean snacks, as Chocolove wanted to create something to capture the "playful edge" of the alien Stitch and "the ohana, nostalgia and flavors of the islands," the company told Axios Boulder.

What they're saying: Chocolove said the bar is made with 72% Belgian dark chocolate and Hawaiian Alaea red sea salt.

"It's rich and bittersweet, with a savory crunch and a vibrant nod to traditional Hawaiian flavors," the local company said.

Dig in: The bars are sold in cases of 12 at $50.99 per case online.

Behind the scenes: Chocolove was founded in Boulder in 1995 by Timothy Moley with the goal of creating European-style premium chocolate.
