Netflix to air "Prime Time" docuseries next year

What he said: Sanders appeared in a video on Netflix's X account Wednesday, announcing the show is in production and is set to air next year.

What to expect: The series will explore Sanders' journey on and off the field as he "opens up about deeply personal aspects of his life, including his relationship with his biological father, surviving an attempted suicide, and near-death health scares," according to Neftlix.

• CU athletics department spokesperson Steve Hurlbert told Axios Boulder he could not confirm how much Buffs content will be featured in the series, but added it was "another exciting opportunity to showcase our university and our community to a global audience."
• Already, the university has benefited greatly from the exposure Sanders has garnered for the Buffs, with the school estimating recent NFL draft coverage was worth about $50 million in exposure.

What we're watching: Netflix has yet to reveal an exact air date for the show.
