The late Arizona Senator John McCain arrived at Andrews Air Force Base just outside of Washington, D.C. late Thursday for the remaining memorial services and burial on Sunday, after making his final journey from Arizona to the nation's capital.
The big picture: Tomorrow McCain will become the 31st person to lie in state at the U.S. Capitol, joining a short list of influential Americans to have their caskets displayed at the rotunda for public viewing. The list includes Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy and Rosa Parks.
