Jamie Dimon staying at JPMorgan for five more years
JPMorgan Chase CEO and Chairman Jamie Dimon announced Monday that he will stay at the company for "approximately five more years."
Why it matters: JPMorgan is the nation's largest bank and Dimon, 61, regularly rebuffs questions about a future political career.
Details: Daniel Pinto, CEO of the company's Corporate & Investment Bank, and Gordon Smith, CEO of Consumer & Community Banking, have been appointed Co-Presidents and Co-Chief Operating Officers, effective Tuesday. They'll continue reporting to Dimon and now are frontrunners to succeed him.
