Goldman Sachs reportedly adding trading desk for bitcoin

Wall Street giant Goldman Sachs is launching a desk to trade bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, Bloomberg reports. It's the first Wall Street firm to get its hands dirty with digital currencies, which have seen a price surge since the beginning of the year. "In response to client interest in digital currencies, we are exploring how best to serve them," a Goldman spokesperson told CNBC.
