Boston Pride shutting down amid criticism over lack of inclusion

Worth noting: The group's executive director announced her resignation in June as criticism over the lack of inclusion increased, AP reports.

• Nearly 1,000 people gathered in June for the second annual March and Vigil for Black Trans Lives, organized by the organization Trans Resistance. Attendees said at the time they did not feel supported by Boston Pride, calling them "trans-exclusionary," per a local NBC affiliate.
