Bannon met with House Intel under threat of subpoena

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon arrived on Capitol Hill Thursday for a closed-door interview with the House Intelligence Committee, reports the AP.

Why it matters: Bannon's return has been delayed several times as the White House and the House Intel committee attempted to work out the proper questioning strategy. Ranking Democrat Adam Schiff released a statement last week moving to enforce a subpoena on Bannon, which would allow the committee to hold him in contempt of Congress had he failed to cooperate.
