1 big thing: 🫐 There's a new farmers market in town
Freshlist, one of Charlotte's main food hubs, now hosts a weekly farmers market at its warehouse in the Belmont neighborhood near Uptown.
Why it matters: The Monday market is a way to buy locally sourced food and support Carolina farmers, especially as a worsening drought shows little sign of easing.
Catch up quick: Freshlist, a wholesaler supplying locally sourced produce, dairy and grains, has built its business around serving more than 100 Charlotte restaurants since launching in 2014.
- Now, it's opening its warehouse to the public with a weekly market in an effort to better connect with the community, CEO Anthony Mirisciotta tells Axios.
What to expect: Inventory changes weekly based on what's in season and what neighbors are asking for.
- Mirisciotta says those requests often include items you wouldn't find during a typical grocery store run.
- Some current spring offerings include blueberries, strawberries, cilantro and asparagus.
- Beyond produce vendors offer meats, eggs, cheeses and artisan goods like pasta, ice cream, peanut butter, olive oil and jams.
Stop by: 1300 Pegram St. every Monday from 2-6pm.

3. 🏈 Draft Day
Draft Day has arrived.
Why it matters: A trip to the playoffs last season positions the Panthers at No. 19 in tonight's first round. But they could surprise everyone and trade up (unlikely).
Between the lines: Analysts aren't confident in the overall talent of this year's draft, the Athletic reported.
Yes, but: There are still a few areas of need for the Panthers, who could add a safety, receiver or even an offensive tackle. Read about potential options here.
What we're watching: After tonight, the Panthers have the following picks:
- No. 51 overall (second round)
- No. 83 overall (third round)
- No. 119 overall (fourth round)
- No. 158 overall (fifth round)
- No. 159 overall (fifth round)
- No. 200 overall (sixth round)
How to watch: The draft starts at 8pm tonight. Rounds 2 and 3 air at 7pm Friday, and the final four rounds begin Saturday at noon.
- ESPN, Disney+, NFL Network and the ESPN App will broadcast the draft. You can also catch the first round on ABC.

6. Second Titanic exhibit set to dock
A second Titanic experience is coming to Charlotte this spring.
Why it matters: Immersive experiences and exhibits recreating the ship's devastating voyage are popping up all over the world. Two are now set to come to Charlotte this year.
The latest: "Titanic: The Exhibition" will be at The Park Expo & Conference Center Friday, May 15, through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7.
Between the lines: "Titanic: The Exhibition" is a separate Titanic-themed exhibit from the previously announced "Titanic: Echoes from the Past" exhibit coming to The GreenHouse in west Charlotte this spring.
What to expect: In "Titanic: Echoes from the Past," you're given the name of a real passenger who boarded the Titanic. As you explore the ship, you follow their storyline.
