Joe Rogan's "crazy" idea for ending all wars: Let AI take over

What he's saying: Rogan told physicist Carlo Rovelli on the latest episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience" that his "crazy hope" is for humans to eventually "farm off" government tasks including "how we interact with other countries."

• "I know that's terrifying to people, but just think of the disastrous effects that we've had so far with humans doing it," Rogan said.
• "If all international military conflicts ended instantaneously upon AI governing the use of conflicts and military weapons, imagine that," Rogan said.

The other side: Amy Kremer, chair of Humans First, an organization advocating greater human control over AI, rejected Rogan's idea, telling Fox News Digital that "AI is a tool, not a governing authority."

• "Decisions about war and peace, foreign policy, our constitutional rights and the exercise of government power must always remain in human hands."
