• After fighting through alternate realities to reunite with his family, physicist Jason Dessen (Joel Edgerton) becomes increasingly obsessed with the device that made his journeys possible, while his wife Daniela (Jennifer Connelly) questions whether their new world is safe.
• The big picture: Season 1 adapted Blake Crouch's 2016 novel, while the new season takes the story beyond the book with Crouch continuing as showrunner.

"Death of the Pastor's Wife" — Three-part documentary series available now on Netflix

• The series uses previously unseen footage and firsthand accounts to examine the life and death of Mica Miller, whose death was ruled a suicide after she had reported being stalked and said she feared for her life.

• The latest: Her estranged husband, John-Paul Miller, who declined to comment for the series, has pleaded not guilty to separate federal charges of cyberstalking Mica and making false statements to investigators.

"Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young" — Sports documentary available now on Netflix

• Former quarterback Vince Young revisits his rise from Texas football phenom to NFL star and the injuries, conflicts and personal losses that complicated his career.
• Flashback: Young passed for 267 yards and ran for 200 more in the 2006 Rose Bowl, scoring the go-ahead touchdown with 19 seconds left to give Texas the national championship.
