Exclusive: AI bubble will be great for consumers, Meta CTO says

• Bosworth contended that "the rate of leverage" — or AI projects financed with debt — is not at the levels seen with "major previous infrastructure bubbles," like railroads.
• "On the flip side, there will be winners and losers. Obviously, if I knew who they were, I wouldn't be here on stage, I'd be day-trading," he said.
• "I think consumers and societies are ultimately the beneficiaries of this tremendous land grab of power, data centers and GPU capacity and whatnot."

The intrigue: Bosworth said that "one thing that is ever-present in our minds in technology is you want to be at the forefront, but you don't want to be at the bleeding edge of the forefront. It's pretty costly up there."
