About Thomas Massie

Massie, who represents Kentucky's 4th congressional district, joined Congress in 2012. He is 54 years old.

• He serves on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and the House Judiciary Committee.

Context: Massie previously served as a judge executive in Lewis County, Kentucky.

• He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in mechanical engineering.
