Starbucks and Dunkin' are unwrapping their holiday menus this week — with nostalgic flavors, new merch and a "Wicked" movie tie-in designed to brew buzz.
Why it matters: The coffee giants are kicking off their most profitable stretch of the year, banking on limited-time drinks and collectible cups to keep customers coming back.
Starbucks holiday drinks, Red Cup Day 2025
Starbucks' holiday menu returns Thursday with Red Cup Day set for Nov. 13 — historically one of the Seattle-based company's biggest annual sales drivers.
- The 2025 lineup features the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Iced Sugar Cookie Latte and Iced Gingerbread Chai, while the Chestnut Praline Latte and Eggnog Latte will return later in the season.
- Starbucks' holiday merchandise lineup debuts Thursday with the Glass Bearista Cold Cup, Gingerbread Cookie Tumbler and Holiday Puppy Water Bottle, plus a limited-edition Hello Kitty collaboration.
Dunkin' Wicked collab, holiday menu
Dunkin's holiday lineup arrives Wednesday, featuring the Cookie Butter Cloud Latte, Berry Sangria Refresher and Raspberry Striped Croissant.
- Dunkin' is going full Oz with a Wicked × Dunkin' collaboration launching the same day with special merch, Wicked Green Matcha, Wicked Pink Refresher and Wicked Munchkins Donut Hole Treats — a playful pink-and-green nod to the "Munchkins" of Oz.
- The partnership follows last year's Starbucks' Wicked tie-in.
Holiday drinks 2025
Zoom in: The season of holiday drinks and menus is popping up across the country.
- Dairy Queen's limited-time Holiday Treat Collection features the Peppermint Bark Blizzard as November's Blizzard of the Month and the Frosted Sugar Cookie Blizzard for December, plus a new Holiday Nog Shake.
- Dutch Bros brought back its Candy Cane Cold Brew and Hazelnut Truffle Mocha, along with a new Mistletoe Rebel energy drink.
- Panera's holiday menu, available Wednesday, adds a Frozen Signature Hot Chocolate and Signature Hot Chocolate, alongside returning Mocha Latte drinks served hot or iced.
