Waymo is now in the corporate travel business

Zoom in: "Waymo for Business" targets recurring business travel, enabling companies to offer employees, students or guests a consistent and reliable way to get around.

The big picture: Waymo has been ramping up service in multiple cities, and now provides more than 1 million rides a month.

• Nearly one in six local riders in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Phoenix uses Waymo to commute.

What's next: After piloting the feature with several organizations including Carvana, Waymo says it's now partnering with employers, universities and event organizers to fold the service into their transportation programs.
