Trump uses another holiday message to attack political opponents

• For Christmas, Trump took aim at Canada, the Panama Canal and Greenland. On Thanksgiving, he attacked "radical left lunatics" and boasted about his election victory.

What he's saying: "Happy Memorial Day to all, including the scum that spent the last four years trying to destroy our country through warped radical left minds," Trump said in an all caps message, going on to write about undocumented immigration during the Biden administration.

• "Hopefully the United States Supreme Court, and other good and compassionate judges throughout the land, will save us from the decisions of the monsters who want our country to go to hell," he added.
• "But fear not, we have made great progress over the last 4 months and America will soon be safe and great again! Again, Happy Memorial Day, and God bless America."

Zoom out: Trump will participate in the traditional presidential address at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday morning.

• The White House on Sunday night also shared a video of what appeared to be a trumpet player at the cemetery playing taps, the bugle call to honor people who gave their lives in service of the U.S.
• The White House did not respond to Axios' request for comment.
• "A grateful nation honors our fallen," a separate White House post on X said. "We will never forget. We pray for their loved ones and all Gold Star Families."
