Here's what's new on Netflix, Paramount+, Hulu, Prime Video, Apple TV+ and PBS.
What we're watching: A new White House-based show from Shondaland, a drama following the daughter of a serial killer, and a thriller about an adoption gone wrong starring Ellen Pompeo.
"The Residence" available now on Netflix
State of play: This murder mystery series stars Uzo Aduba ("Orange Is the New Black") as a Washington, D.C., police detective leading an investigation into the death of a White House staffer.
Behind the scenes: "Scandal" writer and producer Paul William Davies is the series showrunner.
"Happy Face" available now on Paramount+
The intrigue: Dennis Quaid and Annaleigh Ashford star in this series inspired by the life of Melissa Moore who, at 15, discovered that her father was a serial killer known as Happy Face.
- Her story was told on her podcast and autobiography "Shattered Silence."
Zoom in: In this series, Moore (played by Ashford) must find out if an innocent man is going to be put to death for a crime her father (played by Quaid) committed.
"Good American Family" available now on Hulu
What's inside: Based on the Natalia Grace story, Ellen Pompeo and Mark Duplass star in this limited series about a Midwestern couple who get more than they bargained for when they adopt a girl with a rare form of dwarfism.

"Tyler Perry's: Duplicity" on Prime Video
- This suspenseful film follows an attorney (played by Kat Graham) who is tasked with investigating a police-involved shooting of her best friend's husband. Available now
"The Twister: Caught in the Storm" on Netflix
- Survivors of a devastating tornado that hit Joplin, Missouri, in spring 2011 (when they were high school students) are the subjects of this documentary. Available now
"Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light" on PBS
- This series traces the final four years in the life of statesman Thomas Cromwell (played by Oscar winner Mark Rylance) as he navigates King Henry VIII's court. Available Sunday
"O'dessa" on Hulu
- "Stranger Things" star Sadie Sink plays the titular character in this rock opera about a farm girl in a post-apocalyptic world who ventures to a strange and dangerous city while searching for a family heirloom. Available now
"Wolf King" on Netflix
- Based on the "Wereworld" books, this kid's fantasy series follows a young commoner who learns he's the last of a long line of werewolves and the rightful, yet reluctant, ruler of their kingdom. Available now
"Be@rbrick" on Apple TV+
- This animated children's comedy inspired by the BE@RBRICK figurines features original music from Grammy-winning producer Timbaland. Available Friday
