Tens of thousands of X users report outages during "massive cyberattack"

The latest: Musk claimed the attack originated from IP addresses "in the Ukraine area" during a Monday afternoon interview with Fox Business' Larry Kudlow.

• He said attackers were trying to "bring down the X system."

Driving the news: Outage reports started at about 6am ET and spiked around 10am with 41,000 reports, per Downdetector, which tracks website and app outages.

• On Downdetector, 57% reported problems with the app, while 32% reported issues with the website.
• The outages were reported across the U.S.
