Driving the news: The league is introducing "Sunday Night Soccer," in which a feature match will be broadcast each Sunday evening on MLS Season Pass.

• The inaugural "Sunday Night Soccer" matchup will feature the league's new expansion team, San Diego FC, as it debuts against reigning MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy at 7pm ET.

• A subscription costs $14.99 per month during the season, or $99 for the full season, which runs through mid-October. Apple TV+ subscribers can sign up for $12.99 per month, or $79 per season.
