What we're watching: A new season of "Lioness," the last season of "What We Do In The Shadows" and a psychological thriller starring Billy Crystal.
"Lioness" Season 2 available Sunday on Paramount+
State of play: Series stars Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman return. This season follows Joe (Saldaña), Kaitlyn (Kidman) and Byron (played by Michael Kelly) who are tasked with enlisting a new Lioness operative to infiltrate a new threat.
What they're saying: "What Joe sacrificed in season one was her own personal life," Saldaña said in a statement.
- "What she's sacrificing this season is just the way that she conducts herself and the way that she does her work."
"What We Do In The Shadows" Season 6 available now on Hulu
The latest: This will be the final season of the Emmy-nominated mockumentary. Nandor, Nadja, Laszlo, Colin and Guillermo will enter the workforce, go to a human dinner party, honor The Baron and conjure a demon.
"Before" available Friday on Apple TV+
The intrigue: Billy Crystal stars in this 10-episode thriller about a child psychiatrist's encounters with a mysterious patient while dealing with the recent loss of his wife.
"Beauty In Black" on Netflix
- Tyler Perry's newest series explores how the life of an exotic dancer struggling to make ends meet crosses with an heiress of a hair care empire. Available now
"Star Trek: Lower Decks" Season 5 on Paramount+
- The U.S.S. Cerritos crew will be promoted to new Starfleet roles in the final season of the "Star Trek" franchise's first adult animation series. Available now
"Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band" on Hulu and Disney+
- This documentary goes behind the scenes during Springsteen's 2023-24 tour with footage from rehearsals plus archival footage and interviews with the Boss himself. Available Friday
