Despite coming off a historically bad season, the Chicago Blackhawks are hockey's top-selling ticket, according to new data from StubHub.

The big picture: The ticket vendor's 2024 NHL preview lists Chicago as the leader in ticket sales and growth rate.

The highest NHL selling game is the Winter Classic at Wrigley Field where the 'Hawks will take on the St. Louis Blues.

Zoom in: Experts are crediting Chicago's 19-year-old center Connor Bedard, who lived up to the hype during his rookie season.

The intrigue: The league's newest team, Utah Hockey Club, debuted as the 15th best-selling squad this season.

Fans are traveling from 19 states to catch Utah's home games.
