The intrigue: This limited series is based on a true story about a boxing party turned robbery in '70s Atlanta. The cast includes Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Chloe Bailey, Taraji P. Henson, Don Cheadle and Terrence Howard.
Behind the scenes: Showrunner Shaye Ogbonna tells Axios that Jackson, an Atlanta resident for decades, provided helpful details about what the city was like during that time.
- "It was like having a really smart historian, but also just one of those brothers in the barber shop that's just dropping dimes," Ogbonna said.
"The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" available Friday on Hulu
State of play: This reality show follows a group of Mormon women who popularized #MomTok and were at the center of a swinging sex scandal in 2022.
What they're saying: "A lot of people think Mormons are like the Amish and we can't do, say or wear anything, and I'm excited to show that we're just real women, and we live pretty much the same way as everyone else," cast member Jessi Ngatikaura told Axios.
- "We all believe differently. Our goal is to show wherever you are on that spectrum, it's OK, you still can be accepted," cast member Taylor Frankie Paul said.
