Steph Curry carries Team USA in Olympic semifinals vs. Serbia

Warriors guard Stephen Curry put Team USA on his back Thursday in a comeback win against Serbia in the semifinals of the Paris Olympic Games.

Driving the news: Team USA won 95-91 with Curry shooting 9/14 from three-point range, finishing the game with a team-high 36 points.

Curry came just one point shy of Carmelo Anthony's Team USA record of 37 points in a game.
USA trailed by as many as 17 points in the game and was down 14 entering the fourth quarter.

What they're saying: "Chef Curry with a vintage chef Curry game," Team USA teammate LeBron James said after the game.

"It was only a matter of time before [Curry] had one of these games," he said. "He put too much work in not to have a game like this...it was the perfect timing for chef to come out and do what he did."

What's next: Team USA faces France on Saturday at 12:30pm PT for a chance at gold.
