"The Umbrella Academy" season 4 available now on Netflix
Driving the news: This is the final season for this show based on the Dark Horse comic book series.
What they're saying: In an interview with Axios, cast members Tom Hopper (Luther) and Ritu Arya (Lila) talked about the final season.
- "I usually hate watching myself but 'Umbrella' is the one [show] that I do watch as a fan. I just love the world and what it does and how entertaining it is," Hopper said. "I think as a fan of the show I'm satisfied [with the ending]."
- "I would have loved another season, but I'll take what I'm given," Arya said.
"Mr. Throwback" available now on Peacock
The intrigue: Adam Pally ("Knuckles") and four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry star in this sitcom about a troubled memorabilia dealer who seeks out his sixth-grade teammate for help.
My thought bubble: Curry's acting and comedic timing feel more natural than I expected. I could tell the two-time MVP has bought in because he leans into the show's silliest moments.
"Blue Ribbon Baking Championship" available Friday on Netflix
The intrigue: Ten state fair blue ribbon-winning pastry chefs compete for the title of America's best baker and $100,000.
What they're saying: Emmy-winning TV chef Sandra Lee shared her favorite moments as co-host and judge with Axios.
- "There was definitely a dessert that was made on the set [that] made me literally cry. I started crying because it was so perfect," Lee said about a cake she says took 14 hours to make.
