Taylor Swift concerts in Vienna cancelled over terror attack threat

Driving the news: The shows were canceled "due to government officials confirmation of planned terrorist attack" at Ernst Happel Stadium, the organizers said.

• They added, "We have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone's safety."

Zoom in: Police said at a press conference that a 19-year-old Austrian citizen, who "made an oath of allegiance" to the leader of the Islamic State, was arrested Wednesday in Ternitz, south of Vienna, per CNN.

StubHub said in a statement it is aware of the situation and "StubHub ticket holders will be notified via email, immediately."
