Here's what's new on Netflix, Peacock, Apple TV+, Hulu and Max.
What we're watching: A revival of a mid-2000s MTV show, Olympic commentary with two comedy icons, and a TV series based on an '80s cult classic.

"Resurrected Rides" available now on Netflix
State of play: Comedian Chris Redd ("Saturday Night Live") hosts this vehicle makeover program executive produced by "Pimp My Ride" co-creator Rick Hurvitz.
What they're saying: Redd told Axios he agreed to host once he knew the car makeovers would be legitimate, which was an issue on the classic MTV series.
- "We [helped] real people and they were able to keep their cars," he said. "A lot of the folks that we helped were really involved in their communities. … That made me love the show."
"Olympic Highlights" available Friday on Peacock
State of play: Throughout the Olympic Games, Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson will recap the events with comedic commentary.
What's next: The episodes will air Monday, Wednesday and Friday tomorrow through Aug. 11.

"The Decameron" on Netflix
- This new dark comedy series is based on Giovanni Boccaccio's 14th-century collection of stories about a group of nobles and their servants sheltering and sharing tales in a villa during the Black Death in 1348. Available now
"Charlie Hustle & The Matter of Pete Rose" on Max
- This documentary chronicling over six decades of the polarizing life and career of baseball's all-time hits leader includes interviews from Rose, his son Pete Rose Jr., and former teammates Mike Schmidt, Ken Griffey Sr. and Tommy Helms. Available now
"Dirty Pop: The Boy Band Scam" on Netflix
- The rise and fall of Lou Pearlman, the music exec who created and exploited '90s boy bands including the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC and O-Town, is depicted in this docuseries. Available now
