A Colombian child who lost most of his hair after suffering third-degree burns now has a custom-made toupee, courtesy of a local organization.
Flashback: The burns suffered by Johan Díaz, 7, in an accident with an oil fryer covered 70% of his body.
He had to be hospitalized for months, and when he came out, he says, he was bullied because of the bald spots and scarring.
State of play: After local media reported on his case, an influencer with a group called Misión Calvicie reached out and earlier this year set him up with personalized toupees.
