- "We live in a city that welcomes immigrants, and so I do think we have been able to handle it, but I am fearful that any day planes may start coming."

Mexican women's flag football team captain Diana Flores talked about the many issues that women in sports face and her personal story of overcoming the odds as an athlete.
- "I never imagined all of this could be possible for me one day – in a sport that was meant to be for men, being Latina and not having a role model to follow."
Hollywood showrunner Gloria Calderón Kellett discussed challenges Latinos face in the entertainment industry and what changes would most benefit striking Latino writers.
- "We are 20% of the population and 5% of what's on TV. And that 5% is still largely stereotyped."
