MacKenzie Scott donated almost $3.9 billion to nonprofits since June

• Scott, who has a fortune of $55.7 billion, has been "single-handedly reshaping nonprofits with her giving," per Bloomberg.

Details: Scott, the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, wrote that the aim of the donations is to "support the needs of underrepresented people from groups of all kinds. The cause of equity has no sides."

• The list of recipients include community-based organizations, social justice groups and organizations dedicated to the environment and bringing relief to Ukraine. These include the Climate Justice Resilience Fund, various Boys & Girls Clubs, and the Malala Fund.
• Scott also gave $436 million to Habitat for Humanity International and dozens of its U.S. affiliates this year. She donated $275 million to Planned Parenthood, the organizations's largest ever gift from a single donor, the organization announced Wednesday.
