Survey: Investors on the legs of the "going public boom"

Nearly all the institutional investors surveyed by Edelman expect the surge in the number of firms going public to peter out within the next year.
By the numbers: 91% said the investment profiles of companies that go public via traditional IPO are stronger than those using the SPAC route.
What to watch: 85% said the Securities and Exchange Commission should step up regulation on blank-check firms.
