It looks like Tesla CEO Elon Musk might be serious about opening a 1950s-style diner at a Tesla Supercharger station.
Details: Tesla applied to trademark its brand in the restaurant industry, Electrek reports.
- Musk floated the restaurant idea back in 2018, and he even applied for building permits in Santa Monica, but the project seemed dead.
- Tesla likes to build its Supercharger stations near cafes or shopping centers so drivers have something to do while their vehicles are charging.
